Relationships are not a destination. They are a living thing. And like everything alive — they need tending. You didn't come here because everything is terrible. Maybe things are actually fine. Functioning. Comfortable, even. But somewhere underneath the comfortable, something has quietly shifted. The distance that crept in gradually. The conversations that circle without landing. The roles you've each slipped into — that nobody consciously chose but everyone is quietly carrying. The feeling that you're living alongside each other rather than truly with each other. Or maybe it's a transition that brought you here. Children who arrived and changed everything. Children who left and left a silence you're not sure what to do with. A retirement. A move. A career shift that reshuffled everything. Or maybe you're simply here because you want more. More depth. More connection. More of what brought you together in the first place — and less of the drift that happens when two people are busy living their lives and forget to keep designing them together. Relationships need to be redesigned at every stage of life. Not repaired — redesigned. And here is where we begin: with me. Both of you. Perhaps surprisingly, couples work starts with each person individually. Because before we look at the relationship between you, we look at who you each are within it. Your individual values. Your needs. What you each believe about love and partnership — and where those beliefs came from. Two me's. Two stories. Two blueprints — that came together and created something neither of you quite planned. In this first session, both of you talk. I listen — to each of you, separately and together. Your stories — both of them — are the map. And we read them together before we take a single step. Then we agree: how we travel together, for how long, and what we all commit to.
