Fall in Love with Sleep Again 1. Session
Tired has become your baseline. Let's change that — starting with understanding why.
Service Description
Let's talk about the thing you've been treating as optional. Sleep. Not the five-and-a-half hours you're getting. Not the weekend catch-up that never quite catches up. The actual, restorative sleep your brain and body were designed for — and haven't been getting for longer than you'd like to admit. You're here because tired has become your baseline. Because you can't remember the last time you woke up and thought: yes. That's what rest feels like. Because somewhere along the way, sleeping well stopped being something that just happened — and became something you have to work at. And still fail at. Regularly. In this first session, you tell me your sleep story. How long this has been going on. What you've already tried. What your nights actually look like — the lying awake, the waking at 3am, the alarm that arrives before you're ready. What your days feel like as a result. What rest used to feel like, before. Your story is the map. And we read it together before we take a single step. Then comes the knowledge. Because here is what most people don't know: you can't change your sleep without first understanding it. Sleep is not a switch you flick. It's a biological system — two beautifully designed systems, actually. Sleep pressure: the adenosine that builds in your brain while you're awake, growing heavier until your body finally insists. And your circadian rhythm: your internal 24-hour clock, calibrated by light, temperature, and time, telling every cell in your body when to wind down and when to wake up. When these two systems work together — sleep happens. Naturally. Effortlessly. The way it was designed to. When they're disrupted — by stress, by screens, by a nervous system that never quite learned to switch off — sleep becomes a nightly negotiation you keep losing. Understanding this changes everything. Not as theory. As something you recognise in your own life, your own patterns, your own nights. We look together at your sleep profile. Your chronotype — are you wired to sleep early or late, and what happens when life forces you against it? Your specific blockers — what's actually getting in the way. And we start your sleep diary today — a simple, powerful tool that begins to reveal patterns you didn't know you had. Then we agree: how we travel together, for how long, and what we each commit to. We sign our coaching agreement. And we begin. "Sleep is the golden chain that ties health and our bodies together." — Thomas Dekker
